# Language Codes

> The list of supported language values for related advanced filter searches

CreatorDB's API uses ISO three-letter lowercase abbreviations as the language values in the API request body. The following table lists the language codes for the top 10 most spoken languages in the world by population in descending order. For the full list of ISO supported languages, please see [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639_language_codes).
